SCOTS
PIPER
Donald
Reid has been playing for over 25 years.
He was taught by pipers of the Seaforth Highlanders and Scots Guards,
finally studying "Piobaireachd" the classical music of the pipes,
under Major MacDonald, at one time the personal piper to Her Majesty the
Queen.
He is nowPipe Major to Bedford Pipe Band, and either he or one of his
band will attend your wedding.
The norma
l
format is to play the bride and groom out of the church, the bridal party
into the reception and the bride and groom to the top table. This is flexible
as long as it's not too dangerous or illegal!
It is requested that Church Bells remain silent, as Church Bells and Scots
Piper are not compatable.
